“No, we have a couple of days left,” Jioni reasoned. “And we’d look terrible in orange.”
“Speak for yourself. Orange looks quite nice on me,” Hippie Girl replied. She slumped, defeated where she sat. “Ok, maybe you’re right.”
Both sat patient for a while. The wind was now loud to the point where it was distracting. Jioni moved her chair closer to a wall to avoid the breeze and heat. She then broke the silence.
“There has to be something. What about, you know, those metal things you create?” Jioni pointed at one, but her eyes squinted as she didn’t even know what it was.
“You mean those things?” Hippie girl replied. She picked up a metal object and then tossed it. “Just like your flannel, these things are also pretty useless. Just as useless as the people who live here.”
“Well, what else can we do?” Jioni asked. “I’m not giving up just yet.”
