The building was now rubble, and dust flew everywhere. Several Tenebris escaped from the building and into the streets of City Two. They flew into the sky and between the buildings. Jioni grabbed Kathy and hid behind some rubble until the Tenebris were gone. An insane guilt came over her as they sped off in various directions.
A violent cough came from the dust.
Jioni looked around and saw a figure walk toward them, not a Tenebris, but a human. They fanned the air and coughed as well. As the dust settled: it revealed LaMesha. She had her arms crossed with a flamed glare. No one said anything for a while, but Jioni held her breath.
