“It’s not fair,” Hippie Girl whined. “When I find the person who did this, I will beat them up.”

“When I find them, I’ll give them a stern talk about stealing,” Jioni chimed in. “And then I’ll beat them up.” She finished the rest of her tea and put the cup down.

Hippie Girl sat up and laughed between tears. “The lecture may bore them to death before the beating even starts.”

Hippie Girl grabbed a cloth from the center console and rubbed her left eye with it. She then blew her nose, sounding identical to an elephant. Her under eyelids remained red, but her face was dry. Wet strands of hair were removed from her face as she combed it with her hands.
