With a heave, Kathy managed to yank the broom out of the Tenebris grasp and hit the Tenebris repeatedly. She used all her strength to strike, stunning it; with the third hit, the Tenebris lunged forward; Kathy made one wrong move and stepped back, knocking over a candle on the floor. Fire lit the carpet below, and some flames caught her pants leg. Kathy ignored this and whacked as the Tenebris; it dodged most of her swings.
