“I won’t relinquish any position—because we secede,” Tracey announced. “City Two will no longer be part of Geogen.”
Bree frowned and then shot Tracey a toxic glance. Her face turned red as she pushed her back. “You would do anything to keep being mayor, huh? Just yesterday, you messaged me claiming the opposite, did you not?”
“No, I’d do anything to protect this City from freaks like you!” Tracey screamed. “Get out of my office!”
The three remained still, but Tracey peered to her right to see Bree holding her gun tighter.
She was too trigger-happy for Tracey’s liking. Just by looking at her, she knew that Bree was ready to shoot. Tracey’s heart didn’t pound, not a single sweat dropped or any of her hands shook. She sped towards Bree and punched her in the face.
