They reached the back of the building, and Jioni looked for a cracked window. She scanned each one. One by one, they were all perfectly intact. While she looked, Brandon started to ramble and broke Jioni’s concentration.

“I avoid Hippie Girl when I see her,” Brandon said. “Her face scares me—it triggers my flight response.”

“Tell me about it, the psycho is in every single one of my nightmares,” Kathy replied.

Jioni paused and stared at both of them. “Ok, guys, enough with the Hippie Girl slander. Help me find a way in the building instead.”

“I’m sorry, but I’m serious. I mean, I’m sure she’s just trying to help, but I wouldn’t trust someone like her, especially with all the harm she’s done to City Two,” Brandon said. “And I d-don’t support these kinds of things and illegal stuff and—” 

Kathy covered his mouth.“ Dude, Brandon. Just cause you’re a Junior Agent now doesn’t mean you have to act like one. Promise to keep your jaw shut.”
