Jioni tossed Kathy the flashlight, and Kathy launched it at the window, it created a hole in the center; without delay, Kathy peeled back the glass—the building shook and groaned as it was being disfigured.
Jioni did her best to deter the Tenebris, but one grabbed onto her arm, another pulled her leg, and the last one held on to her chin from behind. She twisted and pulled. Her skin paled as her autonomy disappeared. Pinned, her eyes widened as their sharp teeth showed.
Desperate, Jioni’s movements became sporadic.
